Configuration overview
Administrators can centrally search for Business Collaboration activation, permissions, objects, and application configurations from this page without having to browse user operation articles one by one.
Recommended configuration sequence
- Confirm application and activation scope: Confirm that the organization has activated the target application or phased-release features, and set the application administrator and visibility scope.
- Confirm management roles: Distinguish between application administrators, Feeds system administrators and CRM administrators, and confirm that the current account has the corresponding permissions.
- Configuration object capabilities: Maintain fields, layouts, record types, function permissions and data permissions as needed.
- Configure application rules: Complete application-side rules such as Chats, Feeds, reports, approvals, calendar events, and reminders.
- Use test role verification: Verify portal visibility, creation and processing actions, data display and unauthorized behavior respectively.
When configuring for the first time, please complete the Administrator Configuration Quick Start.

Verify before publishing
- Use the target role to confirm that application and operation portals are visible.
- Confirm that the role is assigned the required record type and page layout.
- Separately verify the Web, App or the actual client you need to use.
- Create a piece of test data to check the display results of feeds, object lists and details pages.
- Verify restricted actions such as view, create, edit, void, delete or approve.
- For phased release and synchronization capabilities, confirm the organization activation status and third-party authorization status.
[!WARNING] The administrator roles and Setup entry points corresponding to different capabilities may be different. Don’t just use super administrator verification, you should also use real business roles to check the final effect.
