Deleting a sandbox releases test environments that are no longer used.
[!WARNING] Deleting a sandbox cannot be undone. Deletion limits and protection periods require manual review.

Before you begin

  • You have sandbox management permission.
  • Confirm that the sandbox no longer handles testing tasks.
  • Confirm that the configuration in the sandbox has been published or is no longer needed.
  • Confirm that the test data has been exported or is no longer needed.

Step 1: Open the Sandbox Management page

  1. In the admin backend, go to Environment Management > Sandbox Management.
  2. In the sandbox list, find the target sandbox.

Step 2: Check the sandbox status

  1. View the sandbox status.
  2. Confirm that no test or release tasks are running.
  3. Notify the related users.

Step 3: Delete the sandbox

  1. In the action area of the target sandbox, click Delete.
  2. In the confirmation dialog, read the deletion prompt.
  3. After confirmation, click OK.

Expected results and validation

After a successful deletion, the sandbox is removed from the list. Users can no longer log in to the sandbox.

Important limits

Deletion cannot be undone The sandbox cannot be recovered after deletion
Development Sandbox protection period The original manual states that it cannot be deleted within 24 hours of creation; requires manual review
Full Sandbox protection period The original manual states that it cannot be deleted within 30 days of creation; requires manual review
Before deleting a sandbox, confirm that the configuration, test data, and deployment validation records in the sandbox are no longer needed.
