Manage countries, regions, and administrative divisions
Maintain countries and regions, administrative divisions, and audit logs from the current standard entry point.
Before you begin
- Entry point: Setup > Enterprise Settings > Country/Region Management.
- Permissions: System administrators and CRM administrators can use this feature. Other roles can be authorized through the enterprise permission model.
- Some existing enterprises must first enable the Country, Province, City, and District Management (including overseas country and region data) rollout.
The page contains Countries and Regions and Administrative Divisions tabs. The first maintains country or special-region master data. The second maintains lower-level data under an existing country or region.
Manage countries and regions
View and search
Use the search box in the upper-right corner of the Countries and Regions tab. The list includes code, name, full name, alpha-2 code, alpha-3 code, numeric code, regional format, international dialing code, status, and actions.

Create or edit
- Select New or open an existing record and select Edit.
- Enter the required Name. Use the multiple-language entry point beside the field when translated names are required.
- Enter the full name, alpha-2 code, alpha-3 code, numeric code, regional format, and international dialing code as required.
- Select Confirm.

[!IMPORTANT] Verify alpha-2, alpha-3, and numeric codes against ISO 3166. Before disabling data, confirm whether addresses, dialing codes, or other business scenarios use it.
Manage administrative divisions
- Open the Administrative Divisions tab.
- Select a region name to enter the target hierarchy. Current Location shows the active level.
- Use Import or Export for bulk maintenance, or select New for one record.
- For a new record, select the required Parent, enter the required Region Name, and optionally enter longitude, latitude, and administrative code.
- Select Confirm and check the full address, coordinates, status, and hierarchy in the list.

Download the current template before importing and include a parent for every row. A row without a parent cannot be placed in the correct hierarchy. Review success and failure counts and failure reasons after import.
View audit logs
Open the Countries and Regions or Administrative Divisions category in Audit Logs. Review edit, enable, disable, delete, import, and export operations. Logs record the target, old and new property values, and import or export status, duration, data volume, and failures.
Validate the result
Create a test record that uses an address, dialing code, or regional format for the target country or region. Confirm that the country or region can be selected, the administrative hierarchy is correct, disabled data is unavailable for new business, and the audit log contains the operation.
