Set your time zone and regional format
Scope
You can set a personal time zone and regional format from the options enabled by your enterprise. The time zone determines the local time used to display date-time values. The regional format determines how dates, times, and numbers are written. Neither changes the actual instant recorded by business data.
Set your preferences
- Open your avatar menu and go to Personal Settings > Language and Time Zone Settings.
- Under Time Zone Selection, select your working time zone. The system indicates whether it observes daylight saving time.
- Under Region Selection, select a regional format that follows your local conventions.
- Select Confirm, refresh the page, and check date-time, date, and number displays.
To find another time zone, expand Time Zone Selection and identify it by city or UTC offset.

Check the result
- Date-time values appear in your personal time zone. The date or time may differ from what a colleague without the same personal time zone sees.
- Dates, times, and numbers follow your regional format. The regional format does not translate interface text.
- An administrator’s later change to enterprise defaults does not overwrite your saved preferences.
[!NOTE] For an unexpected time, check your personal time zone, the enterprise default, the device time zone, and whether the date crosses a day boundary or daylight saving time transition.
