Batch printing
Select multiple records on the list page to batch-preview and print business documents.
Overview
The batch printing feature lets you select multiple records on the list page and choose a unified print template and print mode for batch output. This greatly reduces the repetitive work of opening records one by one for printing and improves document processing efficiency.
Before you begin
[!IMPORTANT] - Permission requirements: You must have view and print permissions on the target object’s list page. - Supported template types: - Supported templates: Online print templates (PDF templates created through Create Template and online Word templates). However, approval workflow content configured in templates cannot be printed during batch printing. - Unsupported templates: Offline print templates (Word or Excel documents uploaded through Create Word Template or Create Excel Template). - Note: Single-record printing on the detail page supports all print template types.
Print modes
The system provides two print modes to meet different layout and paper-saving needs:
- Paper-saving mode: Print content does not paginate. Content from multiple records flows continuously, with the next record’s content following the previous one. Suitable for internal reconciliation or paper conservation.
- Standard mode: Paginated printing. Each record’s content occupies its own page. In the browser preview, pages are separated by horizontal lines or page-break markers. Suitable for formal documents delivered to external customers.
