Configure web custom pages
Build enterprise-specific business pages with Web custom pages.
Overview
Use multiple layouts and components to build cross-object workspaces, dashboards, aggregated entry pages, and role-specific pages. Publish a page through a custom menu item in a CRM or Web app view.
Before you begin
[!IMPORTANT] - You need System Administrator permission. - Define the target roles and Business Scenario. - Confirm that required components are available.
Create a Web custom page
- Go to Setup > Interface Customization Management > Web Custom Pages.
- Click New.
- Enter a Page Name of up to 50 characters.
- Keep the suggested APIName, or follow development naming rules.
- Select a Menu Icon and Page Layout.
- Click Next.

Configure the layout
- Drag common, BI, collaboration, business, external, or custom components onto the canvas.
- Arrange components.
- Configure page parameters under Global Settings.
- Configure the selected component under Component Settings.
- Click Save.

Manage custom pages
Use Edit, Disable, Copy, and Assign from the page list. Assign adds the page to a custom menu item and can create that item. Disable a page before deleting it.

Expected result
After saving, publish the page to an app view or CRM menu through a custom menu item.
