process-global-configuration-overview
Configure global Process capabilities, including process global settings, Delegation, process and To-Do Handover, and Common Comments.
Overview
Process global configuration maintains System settings shared across processes. Here, administrators can Configure process global settings, Delegation, process and To-Do Handover, and common Approval comments to reduce Duplicate Configuration in individual processes.
Before you begin
- You have process global configuration permission.
- You have Confirmed the business rules for Process Delegation, process and To-Do Handover, and global configuration.
- You have Confirmed the Applicable Scope for Common Comments.
Core capability structure
Process global configuration has four capability areas: Process global settings, Process Delegation, Process and To-Do Handover, and Common Comments.
- Process global settings: Centrally maintain email Approval, Process Subject, To-Do Batch Operation, and Approval flow global settings.
- Process Delegation: When a User is on leave, on a business trip, or transferred, another Handler processes Process tasks on that user’s behalf.
- Process and To-Do Handover: When a Personnel change or To-Do backlog occurs, hand over Handlers configured in Process definitions or Generated To-Do tasks to new Handlers.
- Common Comments: Maintain reusable Text for Approval or Process handling.
Feature list
| Feature | Purpose | Configuration guide |

| Process Delegation | When a User is on leave, on a business trip, or transferred, another person handles Process tasks on the user’s behalf | Configure process delegation |

Selection suggestions
- For short-term leave or temporary task substitution, use Process Delegation first.
- For resignation, transfer, or Organization adjustment that requires both Process definitions and Generated To-Do tasks to be handled, use Process and To-Do Handover first.
- If you only need to transfer current backlog To-Do tasks to another Handler, use the To-Do Handover capability in Process and To-Do Handover.
- For frequent Approval wording, Reject reasons, or Completed descriptions, maintain them with Common Comments.
- To centrally control System-level rules such as email Approval, Process Subject, and To-Do Batch Operation, use process global settings.
Configuration order
- Confirm the Process scope that requires centralized governance.
- Configure global rules, Delegation, Handover, or Common Comments.
- Use an ordinary user account to validate To-Do handling, comment selection, and global configuration Effect.
- Regularly remove expired Delegation records, Invalid comments, and unused global rules.
