Select approval process nodes

Select the configuration guide for each node type.

Overview

An Approval Process includes Approval Nodes, Multi-Branch Nodes, Collab Nodes, Parallel Gateways, Wait Nodes, Operation Nodes, Sub-process Nodes, and paste nodes. Each node uses different assignee, content, button, timeout, branch, and wait rules. Configure and verify each node separately.

Node list

Node Purpose Configuration guide
Approval Node Configures standard approval, Joint Approval, hierarchy approval, and step-by-step approval Configure approval nodes
Multi-Branch Node Routes data to different approval paths based on conditions Configure Multi-Branch Nodes
Collab Node Lets collaboration assignees complete tasks before the process continues Configure Collab Nodes
Parallel Gateway Sends multiple parallel branches at the same time Configure Parallel Gateway nodes
Wait Node Uses Delay Wait or continues after wait conditions are met Configure Wait Nodes
Operation Node Runs system operations or automatic handling in the process See configuration items in the current process designer
Sub-process Node References a subprocess and sets handling rules for subprocess disablement, deletion, or rejection Configure Sub-process Nodes
Paste node Pastes copied node configuration See configuration items in the current process designer

Configuration recommendations

  • Configure the main-path Approval Nodes first.
  • Configure control nodes such as branch, parallel, and wait nodes next.
  • Configure default assignees for dynamic assignees.
  • Configure timeout reminders for key nodes.
  • Verify each node type separately with test records.
