Configure inventory display rules

Before you begin

❗
  • Applicable scope: ShareOrder Professional Edition.
  • Role and permission: Use an admin account with ShareOrder management permission.
  • Prerequisites: Prepare test accounts, products, and price data.

Steps

Ordering mall business parameters

Product display

Besides the in-process parameters that apply to both Upstream and Downstream, channel ordering has independent parameters. Configure them as needed.
alt text ##### Web mall and Mobile Client mall
See ordering mall configuration.
Virtual fields
If you need to show Price Book Price, inventory, and other configurable fields on the product list, enable virtual fields. This capability applies to Web and Mobile Client.
alt text On this page, configure the fields shown in the Mobile Client product list, including virtual fields.

Category structure style
  1. Category tree style: tree structure and tiled structure
The web mall and mobile mall can use a tree structure or a tiled structure. The result matches Upstream.
alt text 2. Top category style
Besides the standard Product Category, accounts often have product themes and series, such as IP collaboration themes. For theme plus category scenarios, enable a more efficient interaction.
alt text You can enable the top category style and choose whether to show images.

Product placeholder image
Add a mall parameter so the enterprise can customize its placeholder image. The image is applied to web and Mobile Client pages.

Shopping cart layout
See shopping cart layout and checkout configuration.

Inventory display (this parameter controls how Downstream sees inventory in ShareOrder)

Inventory display
After you enable the inventory module, configure whether the mall shows inventory.
  • Do not show inventory
  • Fuzzy inventory: based on Safety Stock, show out of stock, low, or sufficient
  • Exact inventory

Order status tabs
alt text ##### Allow orders to select a Price Book
If Downstream does not enable mall mode, needs form mode, and needs to select Price Book Details with the same habit as Upstream, enable this parameter.
alt text After you enable it, downstream sales orders can add products from multiple Price Books.
Orders can select a Price Book.
Automatic receiving
Select the automatic receiving Settings button. The system opens inventory configuration. Enable Confirm receipt and complete the related settings.
alt text alt text ##### Add temporary gifts
After in-process Manually add gifts is enabled, mall settings automatically add the Temporary Free Gift / Manually add gifts parameter. It is off by default, so Downstream cannot add a Temporary Free Gift manually by default.
alt text Enable it if needed to keep the same experience as Upstream.

Global parameters

Mall mode
ShareOrder provides mall mode and form mode by default. For a complex Business Scenario that mall mode cannot cover yet, such as complex UI events or CPQ operations, turn off mall mode. Then manually remove the Products and Cart bottom navigation from the Mini Program.
alt text Path: Order Management > Mall Settings > Business Parameters > Ordering Mode
NOTE: Check the FMCG Business Plugins Select product settings switch Select products based on merchandise. SPU enterprises that want the product list to select merchandise by merchandise must turn this on. After it is on, the product list shows the merchandise dimension.
alt text alt text If you do not turn it on, the product list still shows products. You can search the list by product rules.
Mall categories
By default, the mall shows the admin Product Category. That category standardizes merchandise management. For platform operations, mall categories need to be simple so users can filter products and merchants can maintain them temporarily for promotions. Enable Mall categories in that case.
alt text After you enable Mall categories, the Product Category object gets a Mall categories Record Type. The product/merchandise object gets a multi-select Mall categories field. After the switch is on, the mall front end shows the mall category tree instead of the backend category tree.
  1. Turn on the mall categories switch.
Path: Order Management > Mall Settings > Business Parameters > Mall categories alt text
  2. Maintain mall category master data. Use the shortcut next to the switch, or search Mall categories in Order Management, open the list, and maintain the data.
alt text
You can create or import mall category data.
  1. Drag the Mall categories field into the Product Details / merchandise detail layout.
alt text 4. Maintain mall category data on each product/merchandise.
alt text After these steps, the ordering mall shows the mall category tree. Downstream result:
alt text Mobile Client mall category result
alt text Web mall category result
Data permission
Backend settings add a parameter that filters data by data permission plus account. This helps prevent data leaks and improves data security.
alt text alt text For complete data permission, see external data permission.

How dealers view inventory, and whether they can view it by Warehouse

Inventory is an independent business. An admin must enable it separately. Path: Administration > CRM Platform Administration > Business Rule Management > Inventory Management, find Inventory, assign the Inventory object to Downstream, and configure object permission. The inventory list supports viewing inventory by Warehouse.
After it is enabled, Downstream can view inventory at any time and replenish in time. Submitting an order creates Frozen Inventory. If inventory is insufficient and orders cannot be submitted, replenish in time. Otherwise Sales or Downstream cannot place orders.

Expected results

Use a test account to confirm the saved settings take effect on the related pages and records.

Undo or roll back

Return to the configuration entry, restore the previous switch, layout, or rule values, and re-verify with a test account.
