Order from direct or indirect channels
Choose the brand-owner sales organization or an Parent Channel partner by the supply relationship, then submit the order by the matching saleable scope.
Overview
Direct-channel orders are submitted to the brand-owner sales organization. Indirect-channel orders are submitted to an Parent Channel partner that has a trading relationship. If you have multiple supply relationships, choose the supplier first.
Before you begin
❗
-
Applicable scope: ShareOrder Group Edition.
-
Role and permission: Use an enabled ordering account.
-
Prerequisites: The upstream enterprise has opened the mall and configured sellable products.
Steps
Multi-level ordering
Direct-channel ordering
- Sign in to ShareOrder with an ordering account.
- Open the mall, check prices and saleable scope, then submit the order.
- On the order detail, confirm the supplier is the brand-owner sales organization.
Standard ordering
- Sign in to ShareOrder. The first time you enter, if multiple trading relationships exist, choose the supplier first.
- After you select the Parent Channel partner, open the mall and choose products by that channel partner’s saleable scope.
- Create an order and check the account and channel merchant filled by the system.
- Submit the order. On the order detail, confirm the supplier and order status.
Unlike direct channel, an indirect-channel new order fills the account and channel merchant by default. Submit the order. The channel order goes to the matching channel merchant order page, not the brand owner.

Products and prices come from the channel merchant saleable scope.
Indirect-channel orders fill the channel merchant based on the channel trading relationship.
Switch merchant and order
When multiple trading relationships exist, the first time you enter ShareOrder you are prompted to choose a supplier. The supplier can be a sales organization or an Parent Channel.
When the supplier is a sales organization, channel ordering submits orders, Payment, and invoicing as the standard Record Type. When the supplier is an Parent Channel, submitted data uses the channel Record Type.
- The supplier on the order matches the sales organization or Parent Channel partner you selected.
- Products and prices match that supplier’s saleable scope, and the order enters the correct channel merchant pending list.
