Check for duplicates and register an account

When creating an account, partner users can retrieve business registration data, check for duplicate records, and submit the account for registration.

Before you start

  • You have permission to create accounts.
  • You have the account name or other information needed for the duplicate check.

Create an account and check for duplicates

  1. Open Accounts from the Partner Connect home page.
  2. Select New Account.
  3. Use the business registry search to complete the account information.
  4. Run the duplicate check from the creation page or duplicate-check tool.
  5. Review the results and decide whether to continue.
Duplicate checking helps prevent channel conflict. If the system identifies an identical or similar account, review the existing record and its current engagement status before proceeding.

Submit an account registration

  1. Add the registration information required on the account record.
  2. Submit the account registration.
  3. Review the upstream approval status on the account or in Tasks.
The upstream enterprise configures the registration process. After approval, the account enters the follow-up process.

Expected result

The account passes the duplicate check and is submitted for upstream approval.

Troubleshooting

  • An entry or submission action is unavailable: Ask the upstream channel manager to check the access scope and business prerequisites.
  • A configuration change is not effective: Check the application scope, role permissions, and dependent rules.
