1.1 Application Scenarios

Line charts can display the trend of each dimension within a certain data range. For example, a line chart can compare the trend of Sales Orders for each month of the current year.

1.2 Chart Configuration

1.2.1 Axis Data

  • Dimension: 1 dimension
  • Metrics: 1-6 metrics

1.2.2 Style (Web)

1.2.2.1 Basic Info
  • Chart Name: By default, it is the name of the analysis Subject when created. It can be modified to a custom chart name based on chart configuration.

  • Remarks:
    • Remark Content: You can set remark information based on the current chart to help viewers better understand the content expressed by the chart.
    • Remark Style:
      • Collapsed: Displayed as an icon after the title in the chart detail and card states. Hovering over the icon shows the remark content.
      • Exposed: Directly displayed as text after the title in the chart detail and card states.
      • Hidden: Not displayed in either the chart detail or card states.

  • Metric Name: By default, displayed according to the metric name, but can be modified.

1.2.2.2 Graph Display
  • Display Form: Default is line-shadow, can be adjusted to line, curve-shadow, or curve.

1.2.2.3 Display Settings
  • Legend: Default is displayed at the top, can be switched to bottom, left, right, or none (none means the legend is not displayed).

  • Data Labels:
    • Label Display:
      • Smart Display: Based on the current display area, intelligently displays value labels. When the values of different metrics are close, some metrics may be automatically hidden.
      • Force Display: Displays all value labels based on the current display area. When the values of different metrics are close, there may be overlapping.
      • Do Not Display: Value labels are not displayed.

  • Data Label Settings: When there are two or more metrics, you can set the display content of the metrics. By default, all are checked. When Do Not Display Data Labels is selected, this configuration item is read-only and cannot be edited.

  • Position:
    • Values Displayed Externally: Values are displayed outside the line chart markers.
    • Values Displayed Internally: Values are displayed in the middle of the line chart markers. When Do Not Display Data Labels is selected, this configuration item is read-only and cannot be edited.

  • Display Total:
    • Display Mode: Default is to display, can be switched to not display. When displayed, it can be shown in edit, detail, and card states (based on specific configuration). When not displayed, it is not shown in any state.

  • Exposed Settings: When there are two or more metrics, you can set the exposed total content. By default, none are checked. When Display Mode is Not Display is selected, this configuration item is read-only and cannot be edited.
  • Card State Display Total: By default, it is checked. You can uncheck it to not display the total in the card state. When Display Mode is Not Display is selected, this configuration item is read-only and cannot be edited.

  • Data Statistics Table: You can set whether to display the data statistics table and its position. By default, it is not displayed. It can be switched to display at the top, bottom, left, or right of the graph.
    • Card State Does Not Display Statistics Table: Based on the display of the data statistics table, this configuration can be set. By default, it is checked.

  • Thumbnail Axis: Default is smart adaptation, can be switched to display or not display.
    • Smart Adaptation: Based on the size of the current graph display area, it intelligently determines how many dimension values can be displayed. If the number exceeds the displayable amount, a thumbnail axis appears. If it does not exceed, there is no thumbnail axis.
    • Display: Regardless of screen size or dimension values, the thumbnail axis is displayed.
    • Do Not Display: Regardless of screen size or dimension values, the thumbnail axis is not displayed.

1.2.2.4 Color and Font
  • Color: The system supports two color schemes: new color and classic color. By default, the first set under the new color is displayed. Additionally, an accessible pattern setting can be enabled.
    • New Color: Supports customizing colors based on a specific color scheme.
    • Classic Color: Does not support custom colors.

  • Font Size: Default is 12, can be switched to display as 13, 14, 15, or 16.

1.2.2.5 Axis
  • X-Axis
    • Display Title: By default, it is not checked. When checked, it echoes the dimension field name, which can be adjusted.
      • Title: When Display Title is not checked, it is read-only. When checked, it can be modified.

  • Axis Labels
    • Display Mode:
      • Smart Display: Based on the current dimension display area, it intelligently displays the number of dimension value characters. If it exceeds the display area, it shows “…”
      • Force Display: Displays all dimension values. If the dimension values are long, there may be overlapping.
      • Custom Display: By default, displays 3 characters, supporting up to 12 characters.

  • Label Angle: Default is horizontal, can be switched to right 45°, left 45°, vertical, or upright.

  • Y-Axis
    • Display Title: By default, it is not checked. When checked, it echoes the name of the first metric, which can be adjusted.
      • Title: When Display Title is not checked, it is read-only. When checked, it can be modified.

  • Axis Labels: By default, labels are checked, but can be unchecked.
    • Label Angle: Based on the checked axis labels, the label angle can be further set. Default is horizontal, can be switched to left 45° or vertical (display effect is the same as X-axis label angle display effect).

1.2.3 Function Configuration

1.2.3.1 Advanced Configuration
  • Display Marker Line: You can set the marker line for the chart. By default, it is not checked. A chart can have up to 6 marker lines.
    • Name: Set the name of the marker line.
    • Marker Value: Default is constant, can be switched to range and the average, maximum, and minimum values of the metric. When selecting constant, a specific value can be set.
    • Marker Type: Default is dashed line, can be switched to circle, diamond, rectangle, or droplet.
    • Display Marker Line Name: By default, it is not displayed, but can be checked to display.
    • Display Marker Line Value: By default, it is not displayed, but can be checked to display.
    • Color: You can customize the color of the marker.

  • Display Dimensions with Metric Value 0: By default, it is not checked, but can be checked to display dimensions with a metric value of 0.

  • SN: By default, it is not checked, but can be checked to display the SN.

  • Sorting: By default, it is not checked, but can be checked to set the sorting of dimensions based on their own order and TopN, or based on a specific metric and TopN. TopN can be selected from presets or manually entered.
    • When the dimension is an enumeration value or Dept. field, custom sorting is supported.

1.2.4 Style (Mobile)

1.2.4.1 Follow Web Layout
  • Follows the Web layout echo, cannot be set independently.

1.2.4.2 Independent Configuration Layout
  • By default, it echoes the content selected in the corresponding configuration items of the Web, but can be further adjusted to a more suitable display effect for mobile.
    • The content and options of the configuration items are fewer than those on the Web. Configuration items that cannot be set independently on mobile default to the Web configuration. The display effect and logic of configurable items are the same as on the Web.
