Dual Axis Chart

Dual-axis Chart

1.1 Application Scenarios

A dual-axis chart can display situations where there are significant differences in metric data within a certain data range under one dimension. For example, a dual-axis chart can compare the sales order amounts and quantities for different account levels, as well as the annual opportunity amounts and quantities for various departments.

1.2.2.2 Graph Display
  • Display Form: Default is Tile-Comfortable, can be adjusted to Tile-Compact, Stacked, or Proportional Stacked.
    • Tile-Comfortable: All metrics are displayed in tiles, with each metric as a separate column, and gaps between columns.
    • Tile-Compact: All metrics are displayed in tiles, with each metric as a separate column, and no gaps between columns.
    • Stacked: All columns are stacked together. When stacked, the position of the value label cannot be set, and values are displayed internally by default.
    • Proportional Stacked: The overall height of the columns is the same, and each metric’s data size is converted into a percentage to display each area. When proportionally stacked, the position of the value label cannot be set, and values are displayed internally by default.

      • Smart Display: Based on the current display area, intelligently displays value labels. When values between different metrics are close, some metrics may be automatically hidden.
      • Force Display: Displays all value labels based on the current display area. When values between different metrics are close, overlapping may occur.
      • Do Not Display: No values are displayed.

  • Position:
    • Values displayed externally: Values are displayed externally.
    • Values displayed internally: Values are displayed internally.
When data labels are not displayed, this configuration item is read-only and cannot be edited.

  • Exposed Settings: When there are two or more metrics, you can set the exposed total content. By default, none are checked; when display method is not displayed, this configuration item is read-only and cannot be edited.
  • Card State Display Total: Default is checked, can be unchecked to not display total in card state; when display method is not displayed, this configuration item is read-only and cannot be edited.

  • Data Statistics Table: Can set whether to display the data statistics table and its position. Default is not displayed, can be switched to display at the top, bottom, left, or right of the graph.
    • Card State Does Not Display Statistics Table: On the basis of displaying the data statistics table, this configuration can be set, default is checked.

  • Thumbnail Axis: Default is smart adaptation, can be switched to display or not display.
    • Smart Adaptation: Based on the size of the current graph display area, intelligently determines how many columns can be displayed. If the number of columns exceeds the displayable amount, a thumbnail axis appears; if not, there is no thumbnail axis.
    • Display: Regardless of screen size or number of columns, the thumbnail axis is displayed.
    • Do Not Display: Regardless of screen size or number of columns, the thumbnail axis is not displayed.
