Semantic retrieval index quick start

Completion Conditions

• An enterprise admin has enabled Semantic Retrieval Index permissions in AI Platform Management.
• You have been assigned a Semantic Retrieval Index Personnel Role.

Minimal creation flow

1. Go to AI Platform Management > Semantic Retrieval Index and click New in the upper right.
2. Select an index type: Local Document or Business Object.
3. Configure basic info (name, description).
4. Upload a file or select a business data range, then set segmentation.
5. Preview the chunk content and confirm to create the index.
