Quick Start

Create a minimal connector to grasp the core connector development workflow.

Learning Objectives and Outcome

After completing this tutorial, you will be able to:
  • Create a connector
  • Configure the authorization method
  • Configure a Trigger or Action
  • Publish the connector

Prerequisites

❗
  • Role permission: Your organization must be included in the limited rollout enabled by R&D to access the Connector Development page
  • Prerequisite configuration: You have obtained the target system’s API documentation and authentication information

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Enter the Connector Development Page

On the Setup > System Integration Platform > Connector Development page, start the connector development work.

Step 2: Create the Connector

Fill in the connector information with real values.

Step 3: Configure the Authorization Method

Choose the authorization method based on the target system’s authentication mechanism. OAuth 2.0 authorization requires configuring authorization fields, the callback address, authorization parameters, and API parameters.

Step 4: Configure the Trigger or Action

Based on real system requirements, choose which events serve as Triggers, and configure the corresponding fields according to the API requirements.

Step 5: Publish

Internal connectors go live in real time after creation and require no review. Public connectors require review and testing before going live.

Run and Verification

After creating the connector, enter an integration flow and select the corresponding event to verify that the connector configuration is correct.
