2. Terminal User Role Permissions

Functional Permissions: Based on Interconnection Roles, permissions are assigned to differentiate and isolate Terminal users’ access. Key aspects include:

  • Object-Level Permissions: Controls visibility of functional entry points. For example, if the “View List” permission for the “Device” object is disabled for the “Individual User” role, Terminal users under this role won’t see the “Device” entry.
  • Operation Permissions: Manages actions like create, edit, etc.
  • Field Permissions: Configures field-level access (read/write, read-only, or hidden) for roles. For instance, the “Remarks” field in Work Orders can be hidden for the “Terminal User” role.

  • ShareCRM predefines roles for Terminal users. For additional role configurations, refer to: Interconnection Roles.
  • Assign the following permissions to Terminal users:
    • Object Permissions:
      • View List: Grants access to the object entry.
      • View Details: Grants access to the object detail page. Without this, Terminal users cannot view Work Order details.
    • Operation Permissions: Required for users to perform actions on business data. For example, disabling “Create,” “Edit,” or “Import” hides these options on list/detail pages.
