Multi-Dimensional Target Management Process
## Step 1: Configure Target Rules
- Target rules define the framework for multi-dimensional performance management, including evaluation objects, dimensions, metrics, fiscal years, cycles, and applicability.
- Authorized Roles: CRM administrators or management roles with permissions under Admin > Business Rule Management > Target Rules.

I. Target Rule Configuration Process
1.1 Example Scenario 1: Evaluating Sales Departments and Employees on Order Performance
Scenario Breakdown
- Evaluation Object: Employees
- Dimensions: By Dept. and employee
- Metric: Sales Order > Order Amount
- Fiscal Years: 2021, 2022
- Personnel Relationship: Data owner (default)
- Department Relationship: Data-assigned department
Configuration Steps
- Rule Name: Employee Order Performance Evaluation
- Evaluation Object: Employees
- Dimensions: Dept. > Employee
- Fiscal Years: 2021, 2022
- Start Month: March
- Metric: Sales Order > Order Amount
- Date Filter Logic: For date-based filters (e.g., “This Month”), “Order Date” determines eligibility.
- Personnel Relationship: Data owner (for target assignment and evaluation).
- Department Relationship: Data-assigned department (for departmental targets).
- Metric Conditions: Exclude orders with “Voided” status.
- Subtarget Splitting: Optional (e.g., split by Order Source or Record Type).
Department Selection: Apply to specific departments (e.g., Sales Dept.).
Personal Target Editing Permissions
- Prerequisite: Users must have “Edit” permissions for target objects.
- If enabled:
- Employees edit personal targets.
- Managers edit subordinate/department targets (including Shared With Me targets).
- If disabled:
- Only managers can edit subordinate/department targets (not their own).
Note: Rules default to Disabled. Enable after finalizing to make them visible under Targets.

Scenario Breakdown
- Evaluation Object: Accounts
- Dimension: Account Name
- Metric: Payment Collection > Payment Amount (USD)
- Fiscal Years: 2021, 2022
Configuration Steps
- Rule Name: Key Account Payment Evaluation
- Metric: Payment Collection > Payment Amount
- Date Filter Logic: “Payment Date” determines eligibility.
- Metric Conditions: Include only “Completed” payments.
Note: Rules for Accounts and Products inherit “Edit” permissions from user roles.
