Configure Field Types
Define visit steps by visit object and scene.
Before You Start

You are a field application administrator.

Required field actions already exist.

A type determines the steps users can perform.
Steps
- In Field App > Field Settings > Field Types, open the list.
- Select New Field Type.
- In the visual designer, configure steps and capabilities.
- Save the Field Type.
Notes
- A standard type supports only a visit summary and photo upload.
- A type referenced by a rule cannot be deleted until that rule stops using it.
Expected Result
The type can be selected in a fieldwork rule.
The selected Field Plan determines the available type sequence.
