Configure Field Actions

Create tasks that users complete during visits.

Before You Start

❗
  • You are a field application administrator.
  • Identify the information to collect.
  • Adding actions changes visit steps for referenced types.

Steps

  1. In Field App > Field Settings > Field Actions, open the list. Field action list
  2. Select New Action. New field action
  3. Select a photo, data-reporting, related-object, field, or inspection action.
  4. Configure the action name, storage field, layout, or related object.
  5. Save the action and reference it from a Field Type.

Expected Result

The action is available when an administrator edits a Field Type.
