App And Feature Permissions

Configure the business roles, scenario roles, and order action types for FMCG ordering.

Overview

💡 Use App and Feature Permissions to define who can use Van Sales & Order Solicitation and which ordering actions they can configure. Correct permission assignment is the basis for downstream field operations and reconciliation.

Before you begin

❗
  • Role permission: You must be a System Admin or a Field Operations App Admin.
  • Completion Conditions: The FMCG Ordering app is activated and the field action module is available.
  • Impact scope: Permission changes affect the ordering actions and Data Range visible to field roles.

Business roles

FMCG Ordering has four business role types:
Role Description
System Admin Full feature and data permissions
Field Operations Admin Manages field apps and actions
Department Manager / Department Assistant Manages the department’s business and data
Regular Employee Basic business operation permissions
The Van Sales / Order Solicitation business scenarios involve four field roles: Driver, Warehouse Keeper, Finance Staff, and Salesperson.

Order action types

Ordering methods fall into three scenarios. Define the order action by scenario when you create an order action:
Action Description
Van Sales Ordering Has a visit plan, places orders during visits, and completes sale / return / exchange / collection in one stop
Order Solicitation Ordering The salesperson collects orders in-store; the delivery staff delivers and collects payment uniformly
Phone Ordering No visit plan; orders are entered when the account calls to request goods

Configuration steps

  1. Go to Field App > Field Settings > Field Actions.
  2. In the field action list, create an action or view ordering-type actions.
  3. Configure common ordering actions on the App home page for one-tap quick ordering (Action Configuration).
  4. Verify ordering capabilities: recent orders, view order history, order staging, and Print Receipt.

Verification

  1. Log in to the mobile client as the corresponding role and confirm the authorized ordering actions are visible.
  2. On the App home page, confirm the configured quick ordering entry is available.
  3. Submit a test order and verify that recent orders and order history are visible.
