Configure campaign types

Use the designer to build management processes for different campaign scenarios.

Overview

A campaign type is the template used by city managers to apply for campaigns and by sales representatives to execute them. Select process depth for display, tasting, livestream, and other scenarios, and configure business rules for agreement, evidence, audit, and write-off nodes.

Before you start

❗
  • You have the Campaign Administrator role.
  • The campaign nodes you need have been maintained.
  • The campaign scenarios and management detail required by the enterprise are confirmed.

Procedure

Open the designer

  1. Go to Campaign > Activity Settings > Campaign Type Settings.
  2. Click New.
  3. Select a scenario template, or select Custom to create one.

Configure node business settings

After selecting a node in the process, complete its business settings in the panel on the right:
  1. Campaign Application: Campaign period management is enabled by default; requiring an associated Campaign Plan is also enabled by default.
  2. Campaign Agreement: Set the period in which agreements can be signed.
  3. Promo Proof: Set the evidence frequency, evidence period, available evidence time, and whether reported expense is calculated per item or per visit.
  4. Campaign Audit: Select the audited node (Promo Proof by default), the audit method (full inspection by default or sampling), and configure the audit page. If the audited node is not Promo Proof, complete additional field mapping.
  5. Store Expense Write-off: Select the write-off evidence node (Campaign Audit by default), set the calculation method for the write-off reference value, and configure Store Expense Write-off page fields.
  6. Expense Write-off: Select write-off evidence, the reference-value calculation method, and write-off evidence object fields; choose whether write-off can exceed the campaign application amount; and enable expense posting as needed (manual or automatic). Posting requires Customer Fund Account capabilities.
  7. Campaign Plan, Store Expense Disbursement, and Custom Node: No additional business settings.

Verification

  1. Confirm that the new record appears in the campaign type list.
  2. With an activity owner account, create a campaign plan or application and confirm that the type is available.
  3. Open the application details and confirm that the displayed process matches the designer.

Notes

  • The Campaign Application node cannot be removed from a process.
  • Confirm that Customer Fund Account capabilities are available before enabling Expense Write-off posting.
  • After a campaign type is disabled, employees in its applicable scope can no longer create new plans or applications with that type.
