Configure the mobile dashboard
After completing the Web design, configure the display order, visibility, filter style, and component height of the components on mobile.
Before You Begin
- You have completed the basic Web dashboard design; see Design a Dashboard (Web).
- You have entered the dashboard’s mobile configuration.
Choose the Component Order and Visibility Method
In global settings, choose how to manage the component order and visibility on mobile:
- Follow Web: The default method. Mobile follows the Web component order and cannot be adjusted separately.
- Independent on mobile: Based on the existing Web components and their display states, adjust the visibility and order of the mobile components separately.
To highlight a few key items on mobile, select Independent on mobile and adjust the visibility and order of the components one by one.
Set the Filter Style and Height
Select the global filter or custom filter component and set the following in its properties:
- Style: The sticky capsule style is used by default. You can also switch to a standard component.
- Component height: You can customize the height. If you do not set one, the default height applies.
Set the Height of Other Components
Charts, rich text, and tab containers all support customizing the component height on mobile. After selecting a component:
- Open the component properties.
- Set the desired component height. The component uses the default height if you do not set one.
- Continue to adjust other components as needed.
Expected Results
You have completed the mobile dashboard configuration, and the component order, visibility, and heights on mobile meet your display needs.
Finish the Configuration
Check that the component order, visibility, and heights on mobile meet your display needs, then save the dashboard. Mobile configuration only adjusts the mobile display and does not change the independent Web layout. When you select Follow Web, the mobile view keeps following the Web component order.
