Chart Operation Guide

Overview

This guide explains how to view, edit, export, subscribe to, share, and forward charts with the chart operation permissions you already have.

View a Chart

  1. In the report list, click the title or thumbnail of any visible chart.
  2. The system opens the chart detail page with the full chart data and visualization.
[!NOTE] If a chart is set to private, you see it only when you are within the Visibility scope specified by the admin.

Edit a Chart

  1. On the detail page of a chart you can edit, click Edit.
  2. Modify the chart configuration in the editor.
  3. Click Save.
[!TIP] You have all operation permissions on charts you created yourself. If the Edit button is unavailable, you do not have edit permission.

Export a Chart

  1. On the chart detail page, click Export.
  2. Choose an export format (image or data file).
  3. Wait for the system to generate the export file.

Subscribe to a Chart

  1. On the chart detail page, click Subscribe.
  2. Set the delivery frequency and receiving method.
  3. Save the subscription configuration.
For more subscription settings, see the Subscription Management section.

Share and Forward a Chart

  • Share: Share a chart with other users for viewing. On the chart detail page, click Share and select the target personnel.
  • Forward: Forward a chart to other collaboration channels. On the chart detail page, click Forward.

Common Scenarios

Scenario 1: View a private chart shared with you

  1. A colleague creates a chart and sets it to private.
  2. The colleague adds your role to the Visibility scope.
  3. After you refresh the report list, the chart appears.

Scenario 2: Cannot edit a chart

If the Edit button is unavailable, possible reasons include:
  • You do not have Edit permission at the subject domain level.
  • The chart’s edit permission is set to private, and you are outside the allowed scope.
Contact your admin to confirm your role permission configuration.
