Dashboard Operation Guide
Overview
Dashboards provide a visual data board that helps you gain quick insight into business conditions. This guide explains how to operate dashboards with the permissions you already have.
Create a Personal-Type Dashboard
- Go to Dashboards.
- Click New.
- Select Personal as the dashboard type.
- Add chart components and configure the layout.
- Set the view permission: Public or Private.
- Click Save.
Share a Dashboard
- In the dashboard list, find a dashboard you created.
- Click Share.
- Select the target personnel or departments.
- Optional: Set operation permissions such as Edit and Delete.
- Save the sharing configuration.
- To stop sharing, open the sharing settings again and clear the selection.
Edit a Dashboard
- You can edit dashboards you created.
- You can edit dashboards shared with you when Edit is checked.
- On the dashboard detail page, click Edit.
- Modify the chart configuration or layout.
- Click Save.
Delete a Dashboard
- You can delete dashboards you created.
- You can delete dashboards shared with you when Delete is checked.
Hide a Dashboard
You can hide any visible dashboard as needed. Hiding takes effect only for you and does not affect other users. To unhide, open the dashboard management page and unhide the dashboard.
Common Scenarios
Scenario 1: View a dashboard shared with you
A colleague shares a personal-type dashboard with you. Refresh the dashboard list to see it.
Scenario 2: View an enterprise-type dashboard
Enterprise-type dashboards are created by a CRM admin or report admin and authorized to you. You can view them in the dashboard list. An enterprise-type dashboard uses the grantor’s data permissions, not your personal data permissions.
