Use Threshold Reduction Coupon examples to understand order impact.

Overview

Coupon application examples explain usage conditions and order results. Sales users can first check the Account, order amount, Product, and payment method. After the order meets the conditions, they can select the corresponding Coupon in the order.

Example background

The enterprise creates a Threshold Reduction Coupon to promote purchase of specific products. The Coupon Program can be set as 100-10 and restricted to the current month. After the Account receives the corresponding Coupon Instance, the Account can use it in orders that meet the conditions.

Example 1: Standard Threshold Reduction Coupon

Usage limit One order can use only one Coupon
After the Account creates an order, the sales user can select the Coupon if the order amount reaches 100 and the Coupon is still Valid. After usage, Amount Pending Collection decreases by 10.

Example 2: Threshold Reduction Coupon with product conditions

Condition Description The Coupon is available only after the designated Product is purchased
If the Account order reaches 200 but does not Include beverage products, the Coupon does not meet the current order conditions. The system can still display other valid Coupons under the Account. Sales users can decide whether to adjust the purchase content.

Example 3: Threshold Reduction Coupon with a payment method restriction

Usage result The Coupon cannot be used with other payment methods
After the Account order meets the amount and product conditions, the Coupon still cannot be used if the payment method is not WeChat Pay. Sales users need to confirm the order payment method first.

Example 4: Flexible Coupon Instance

If the Coupon Program is set as a flexible Coupon, the Coupon Instance Face Value can be adjusted separately after the instance is generated. For example, the default program is 100-10. The instance can be adjusted to 100-8 or 100-15.
[!NOTE] A flexible Coupon only means the instance Face Value can be adjusted. Availability still depends on the usage conditions in the program and instance.

Example 5: Coupon Program Description

Coupon Program Description is used to view Campaign Description when placing an order with a Coupon. For example, you can enter: beverage products May Day promotion, reduce 10 when the order reaches 100.

Usage result decision

  1. If the order meets the Coupon conditions, the system allows users to select and use the Coupon.
  2. If the order does not meet the conditions, the Coupon is not available for the current order.
  3. If the usage Type is Offset Payment Received, the order amount does not change, but Amount Pending Collection decreases.
  4. If the usage Type is Allocated Discount, the order amount and line Unit Price decrease.
  5. After usage, you can view the deduction record in Coupon usage details.
