View credit occupancy

View the credit balance, occupied amount, and the documents that occupy credit.

Overview

Occupancy details show the occupying document, amount, and date. Occupancy follows document flow. For example, if an order occupies 100 and a shipment of 80 is created, occupancy becomes 20 on the order and 80 on the shipment.

Before you begin

❗
  • Credit Management is enabled.
  • The CRM account has a credit grant, and Credit Control is enabled.

Steps

  1. When you submit an order or similar document, the system checks the credit balance by occupancy rule. If the balance is enough, credit is occupied. If not, the system blocks the submit or shows a second prompt.

  • Occupancy details cannot be voided or deleted by hand. They change with the document.
  • When an order ships more than once, the system releases order occupancy in batches.

Expected result

  • You can see available credit, occupied amount, and occupying documents.
  • After shipment or receivable, occupancy details match the current document flow.
