Use Amount-Based Rebate
Use Amount-Based Rebate on an order.
Overview
Amount-Based Rebate is used to offset an order. You enter an amount in the Customer Fund Account Component to use it.
Before you start
[!IMPORTANT] - The Customer Fund Account system is enabled, and account authorization and account validation rules are configured. - The rebate form has been posted to account. - The order has a Rebate Usage Rules available.
Use Amount-Based Rebate
- Show the Customer Fund Account Component on the order.
- In Current deduction, enter the amount you want to use.
- Make sure the amount does not exceed the current order limit and the rebate form balance.
- The value is applied automatically to rebate forms in Expiration date descending order.

- If you need to adjust line by line, click Adjust usage details.
- On the details page, view and adjust the Rebate Usage Rules and rebate forms that can be used.
- You can adjust the amount used from each rebate form.


What happens after usage
- The system applies rebate forms automatically in Expiration date descending order.
- Within the allowed rebate usage scope, the order writes back the usage result after you confirm the amount.
- The related fields on the master-detail object are affected according to the Rebate Type.
- The Amount Pending Collection equals the original Amount Pending Collection minus the rebate amount used.
Expected results and verification
- The order shows the rebate amount used.
- Rebate usage details show the matching rebate forms.
- The Amount Pending Collection decreases accordingly.
FAQ
- If the amount cannot be entered, check the rebate form balance and the order limit.
- If the amount is not enough, check the rebate form balance, account balance, and whether The rebate form has been posted to account.
