Basic capabilities

After Price Books are enabled, Available Sales Scope supports:
  • Controlling Sellable Accounts by all Accounts, Accounts meeting specified conditions, or designated Accounts.
  • Controlling Sellable Products by all Products, Products that Meet Specified Conditions, or designated Products.
  • Controlling sales boundaries by Applicable Organizations and Applicable Partners.
  • Setting whether Partners and Channels are visible.
  • Automatically filtering Products and returning prices in Opportunities, Quotes, Sales Contracts, and Sales Orders.

Advanced capabilities

An enterprise can enable these switches separately according to business complexity:
  • Available Sales Scope Priority: Determines whether the highest Priority or the combined scopes apply when an Account matches multiple scopes.
  • Available Sales Scope duplicate check: Checks scopes with the same Account conditions to reduce duplicate configuration.

How it works

When a business user selects an Account in a business document that supports Product selection, the system automatically matches the Available Sales Scope for the current user or business Owner:
graph TD
    A[Select Account] --> B[Match effective Available Sales Scopes]
    B --> C[Validate Account and organization conditions]
    B --> D[Filter Sellable Products]
    C & D --> E[Display selectable Products]
    E --> F[Return the Product Price from the Price Book]
Only data that meets both the Sellable Account and Sellable Product conditions appears in the selection list of a business document.
The system returns the Product Price from the matched Price Book after the Product passes the scope conditions.

Impact after enabling

After you enable Available Sales Scope, the Product selection window is empty if no effective scope is configured, and it prompts users to contact the administrator.
