Select products in a flat structure
When an administrator configures the category display style as a flat structure, the Product selection window displays categories and Products in a flat list.
Before you start
[!IMPORTANT] - Role permissions: You need permission to edit Product Details in the current business document. - Prerequisite configuration: The administrator has set the category display style to a flat structure. - Dependencies: The Product is associated with a Product Category and the current document allows Products to be added.
Procedure
- In the Product Details section of the business document, click Add Product.
- Browse the flat category and Product list in the Product selection window.
- Use category filtering or Product search to locate the target Product.
- Select the target Product and confirm.
Expected results
The confirmed Product loads into the current document. A flat structure is suitable for scenarios with few category levels, few categories, or a need to browse Products quickly.
