Select products in a tree structure
When an administrator configures the category display style as a tree structure, the Product selection window displays a category tree on the left and a Product list on the right.
Before you start
[!IMPORTANT] - Role permissions: You need permission to edit Product Details in the current business document. - Prerequisite configuration: The administrator has set the category display style to a tree structure. - Dependencies: The Product is associated with a Product Category and the current document allows Products to be added.
Procedure
- In the Product Details section of the business document, click Add Product.
- In the Category Tree on the left of the Product selection window, expand the target parent category.
- Select the target child category in the category tree.
- View the Products in that category in the Product List on the right.
- Select the target Product and confirm.
Expected results
The Product List on the right displays Products in the selected category, and the confirmed Product loads into the current document.
[!TIP] If you cannot find a Product, first confirm the parent and child relationship of the current category, then use the page’s filtering or search capability.
