Create an available sales scope
Create a product sales boundary for sales organizations, accounts, and partners.
Overview
After you create an available sales scope, configure its allowed accounts and products. The system uses the rules to control product selection in business records.
Before you start
[!IMPORTANT] - Permissions: You need setup or available sales scope configuration permissions. - Prerequisite: The enterprise has enabled price books and available sales scopes. - Dependencies: Confirm the applicable organizations, partners, accounts, and products.
Steps
- In the Available Sales Scopes module, click New.
- Enter an Available Sales Scope Name in Basic Info.
- Set Status in Basic Info.
- Under Applicable Organizations, select All or Meets Specified Conditions.
- Under Applicable Partners (shown when Channel Distribution is enabled), select All, Meets Specified Conditions, or None.
- Set Partner Visibility in Basic Info.
- Set Channel Visibility in Basic Info.
- Under Allowed Accounts, select All Accounts, Meets Specified Conditions, or Specified Accounts.
- Under Allowed Products, select All Products, Meets Specified Conditions, or Specified Products.
- Click Save on the available sales scope page.

Expected results
- The available sales scope saves successfully.
- An enabled scope becomes available for business record matching.
- Business records filter products by organization, partner, account, and product conditions.
Notes
- Applicable organizations control the sales users subject to the rule.
- Applicable partners control the external partners subject to the rule.
- Partner and channel visibility control whether the corresponding portal or channel can see the scope.
Configuration terminology
Use Designated Account, Designated Product, Meet Specified Conditions, Product Scope, Sellable Range Name, Sellable Product, Sellable Account, Saved Successfully, and Enable Status in the form.
