Plan account pool members and account routing rules

After planning, you can define Account Pool boundaries, member roles, claim methods, quantity limits, and withdrawal strategies.

Before you begin

  • This task is for CRM administrators.
  • Define the sales departments, user groups, and owners.
  • Decide whether to divide Accounts by region, industry, Account level, or another criterion.

Plan the rules

  1. Divide Account Pools by region, industry, or Account level.
  2. Assign an administrator and members to each Account Pool.
  3. Decide whether members can view and claim unassigned Accounts.
  4. Define how the Claim Limit interacts with the Account Retention Limit.
  5. Define Account return, automatic withdrawal, and transfer conditions.
  6. Select the fields visible before a member claims an Account.
  7. Define valid Follow-up Behavior and Deal Behavior.
