Collaborate through interconnected feeds
View, publish and forward business dynamics in upstream and downstream interconnection scenarios.
Before you begin
- The administrator has configured the Feeds component on the CRM homepage or the interconnected app homepage.
- Your interconnected role has the permission to view or publish the corresponding dynamics.
Publish posts
- Enter the page where the Feeds-New component has been configured.
- Select the post types that are allowed to be published.
- Fill in the content and visible range.
- Post updates.
The types that can be published are different between upstream and downstream:
| Interconnected roles | Publishable types |
|---|---|
| Upstream | Sharing, reports, calendar events, announcements, Sales Record |
| Downstream | Report, calendar event, Sales Record |
The actual scope is also affected by component configuration, role permissions, and organization provisioning capabilities.
View and filter updates
- Enter the page where the Feeds-View component has been configured.
- Filter by post type, creator, creation time or keywords.
- Open the target post to view details.
- Reply or view modification records according to permissions.
| Interconnected roles | Viewable types |
|---|---|
| Upstream | Sharing, reports, approvals, tasks, calendar events, announcements, Sales Record, field work |
| Downstream | Sales Record, Report, Calendar event, Field |
Downstream users can view modification records for which they have access to Dynamics.
Forward updates
- Upstream can forward posts to intra-organization Chats or interconnected Chats.
- Downstream can forward posts to interconnected Chats.
After forwarding, the system will provide the recipient with the temporary permissions required to view the update.
[!NOTE] interconnected feeds display data by feed permissions and dynamic visibility range. Sales records, reports, and calendar events are usually viewed through CC or @; by default, the field office CCs the corresponding Internet personnel. Users who are not copied, @ or authorized cannot view related updates.
Component compatibility instructions
The new configuration uses separate Feeds-New and Feeds-View components, each component can only be configured once on the same page, and is compatible with grid layouts. The old single Feeds component in the history page can continue to be used, but it cannot be re-added after being deleted. Two new components should be used instead.
