Collaborative approvals overview

Collaborative Approval is used to handle corporate collaboration matters such as leave, reimbursement, business trips, and overtime. Currently, Collaborative Approval is built through object capabilities: administrators configure record types, fields, page layouts, and role permissions in preset approval objects, and employees use the configured forms to initiate and process approvals.

Core capabilities

  • Configure different record types and form fields according to approval items.
  • Assign record type, page layout, function permissions and data permissions by role.
  • The initiator fills out the approval form and freely selects the approver.
  • Supports publishing approval, and also supports saving drafts first.
  • Initiators and approvers can view approvals related to them and track the processing status.
  • Supports search for associations through object field configuration, and can also create approval data through functions based on object capabilities.

Current rules and restrictions

  • Collaborative Approval does not configure a fixed approval process and sending scope, and the approver is selected by the initiator.
  • Approvals are only visible to initiators and approvers by default.
  • Approval query statistics and batch export capabilities are currently not provided.
  • Leave and business trip approval will not automatically synchronize employee work status, nor does it support synchronization to attendance rules.
  • Page entries, fields and executable operations are affected by organization configuration, role permissions and data status, and are subject to the current page.
