Submit applications for leave, reimbursement, business trips, etc., and track the approval processing status.

Before you begin

  • The administrator has assigned the applicable approval record type and page layout to your role.
  • The fields for different approval types may be different, please refer to the current form.

Initiate approval

  1. Go to Feeds.
  2. At the top of the page, select Approval.
  3. Select the approval type.
  4. Fill out the approval form.
  5. Select the approver.
  6. Select Submit. To continue later, select Save as Draft.
Initiate Collaborative Approval from Feeds
Collaborative Approval does not configure a fixed approval process and sending scope. Approvers are selected by the initiator, and approval is only visible to the initiator and approver by default.

View approval

In the approval tab of Feeds, you can view:
  • Self-initiated approvals.
  • Approvals that need to be handled by yourself.
Approval entries and visible data are affected by role permissions, record type assignments, and data status.

Process approvals in progress

  1. Open the approval that needs to be processed.
  2. Check the approval fields and related information.
  3. Complete consent, rejection or other processing according to the operations provided on the page.
During the process:
  • The sponsor can change the handler.
  • The sponsor can withdraw approval if the process is not complete and the release is less than 24 hours old.
  • Relevant people can start discussions around approval.
Collaborative Approval does not support one-click approval of all pending data and needs to be opened and processed one by one. The system default message is used for approval, and administrators cannot add fields displayed in the message themselves.
[!NOTE] Currently Collaborative Approval does not support forwarding, favorites, following, reminders, printing and setting as tasks.

Current limitations

  • Approval query statistics and batch export capabilities are currently not provided.
  • Leave and business trip approval will not automatically synchronize employee work status, nor does it support synchronization to attendance rules.
