Authorize and use third-party calendar synchronization
Synchronize events between ShareCRM Calendar and Microsoft Outlook in the direction configured by your administrator.
Before you begin
- The administrator has configured an Office 365 calendar synchronization connection.
- Your ShareCRM account email is consistent with the user principal name in the Microsoft tenant.
- Microsoft user type is “Member”.
Authorize the connection account
- Go to Personal Settings > Connected Accounts.
- Find Office365 sync.
- Select Authorize, then select Authorize again in the confirmation dialog.
- Complete Microsoft account login and authorization.
- Return to Connected Accounts and confirm that the connection appears under Authorized.

Create an event to synchronize
- In Calendar, select New Event.
- Under Calendar Selection, select Office365 sync.
- Enter the Subject, Content, Participants, Contacts, Time, privacy option, reminder time, and repeat option as needed.
- Select Submit. To continue later, select Save as Draft.

View synchronized events
- Synchronized Office 365 events are displayed in green by default.
- Under My Calendar, use CRM Event and Office 365 Sync to show or hide each calendar source.
- Select an event to view its details and participants.

Only organization participants who have authorized the sync configuration can sync to Outlook. Contacts can be synced as Outlook attendees as long as they have their email addresses saved.
