Why do the report fields change after clicking “Show More”?
Use the summary layout before expanding, and use the detail page layout after clicking “Show More”. Administrators need to check the field configuration in both layouts separately.
How to filter reports by time period?
Do not use a text-type “time” field. Instead, select a date field such as the report start date to set the start and end range.
Where are the object-based reports exported from?
Export from the report object list page. The query and statistical capabilities of object-based reports have been generally available.
When using Multiple comments, why is the complete review data missing from the object list and BI reports?
Multiple comments generates multiple review records. The status and content cannot be represented as single-value fields, so the object list cannot display or export them and BI reports cannot directly analyze review status, reviewer, score, content, or time.
After creating a new report record type, why is it not displayed in the frontend?
In addition to creating record types and assigning layouts, you also need to configure the applicable scope and reporting period in the report business rules.
Will the minimum Cc Scope determine the data permissions of the report object list?
No. Cc Scope affects the feed visibility in Feeds and follow-up updates; the data visibility of the object list is determined by the basic data permissions of the report.
The report layout is configured with detail object components, why is it still not displayed when creating a new one?
Check whether the current employee has the permission to create and edit the detail object, and confirm that the record type of the detail object matches the record type of the report master object.
Can I still view the history reports of disabled employees?
Yes. Depending on the entry point and data permissions, you can filter deactivated employees in Feeds, view historical reports in the object list, or select deactivated employees in reports for statistics.
How to count the number of people whose reports have not been submitted?
After report statistics are enabled, the system generates submission data from the configured rules. In BI reports, use Reports Not Submitted, calculated as Reports Due - Total Reports Submitted.
Can the report reminder disappear directly after being read?
No. The review to be reviewed is a to-do action. Reading will only change the reminder status and will not remove the data to be reviewed. The to-do will not end until the review is completed.
If Cc Scope is not set, can others still see the reports?
In some cases. Feeds are usually not visible, but people with basic report data permissions may still follow-up activity views from the report object list or object details page.
How to restore invalid reports?
Administrators with recycle bin management rights can restore object-based reports in Setup > Recycle Bin. Whether the front-end user can invalidate reports is controlled by role business function permissions.
Will modifying the report background settings affect historical data?
No. For example, after modifying the default Cc recipient, it will only affect subsequent new reports and will not rewrite the Cc Scope of historical reports.
