Manage feeds content and tools

Understand secondary content management portals and permission boundaries in Feeds.

Topic management

Administrators can create, set or export topics. Employees can insert topics into collaborative rich text content that supports topics. Availability of topics also depends on the rich text version of the current content.

Task management

Personnel with corresponding administrative rights can filter task data by status, issue time, issuer, and executor, and generate export reports if the page provides the option.

Table management

Forms administrators can create form templates. Employees can select and use table templates in rich text scenarios that support these templates.

Current limitations of collaborative rich text 2.0

The mobile version does not currently support emoticons.
The mobile version does not currently support adding topics.
The mobile version does not currently support adding votes.
Web attachments do not currently support batch downloading.
Tables in rich text do not currently support the export of table templates and table queries.

The above table restrictions are for rich text editing scenarios and do not affect administrators maintaining table templates in independent table management portals.

Current limitations of object-based feeds

Feeds such as reports and Sales Record currently do not display the display names of object fields.
The field colors configured for single-select, multiple-select, number, amount, calculation, and star rating fields currently do not take effect in the feed.
Follow-up updates currently cannot further limit the display scope based on field conditions.
Rich text currently does not support underlines.

Different content types and clients have different rich text capabilities. Before use, you should select an appropriate publishing portal based on the above restrictions.

[!IMPORTANT] When the organization EI is greater than 772227, Feeds and work information currently do not support PK assistant, sales process, project tasks, attention, reminders, topics, rewards, forwarding, group notifications, CRM information and printing.

Information deletion tool

Administrators with corresponding permissions can delete work information by data ID.

[!WARNING] Deletion may not be undone. Data IDs, content types, and business impact should be checked before execution and confirmed that no invalidation or disabling action is more appropriate.
