Core concepts, roles, and permissions
This page explains common concepts used across multiple product capabilities in Business Collaboration.
Object-based implementation
Object-based implementation refers to the integration of collaborative capabilities into CRM preset object management. Administrators can configure fields, layouts, role permissions, record types, and data permissions by specific objects. The Report, tasks, and announcements in the current manual are all described according to the current objectization capabilities.
Feed
Feed is the flow of information in feeds and follow-up updates. Content such as reports, sales records, tasks, and calendar events can be displayed as feeds based on permissions, and interactions such as replies, likes, favorites, or forwards are supported. Whether the content can be displayed depends not only on the Feeds entry, but also on the corresponding business data and Cc Scope.
Cc Scope
Cc Scope is used to specify who can view content in feeds and other portals. Admins can configure fixed ranges, and employees can add Cc recipients when the page allows it. Object data permissions, Feed permissions and Cc Scope may take effect at the same time.
Receipts and comments
- Receipt: Ask the recipient to confirm that they have viewed the specified content.
- Comments: Designated personnel provide feedback on Report and other contents.
Interconnection capabilities
Interconnection capabilities are used for upstream organizations to collaborate with downstream organization members. interconnected Chats, interconnected Feeds, and interconnected calendars rely on the organization’s enabled interconnected applications, interconnected roles, and page configurations. The scope of content that can be published and viewed may be different between upstream and downstream users.
Phased-release feature
Phased-release features are only effective for organizations that have applied and activated them. Features marked in phased release in this article should not be considered as available by default for all organizations. When the portal is not displayed, you need to check the organization activation status, application scope, and role permissions at the same time.
How permissions are evaluated
The system usually determines whether a piece of collaborative data is visible, editable or processable based on the following conditions:
- Business function permissions of the current user.
- Object basic data permissions and data sharing rules.
- Feed permissions and Cc Scope.
- Whether the user is the creator, responsible person, executor, participant, approver or Reviewer.
- The current status of the data and the corresponding operation permissions of the button.
- External data permissions for interconnected applications and interconnected roles.
