Tag management overview
Use custom tags and tag groups to classify business records. You can also display standard field values as highlighted tags.

Core concepts
- Tag group: A logical container for related tags, such as Account Lifecycle Status.
- Tag value: A colored characteristic within a group, such as Prospect or Closed Account.
- Field tag display: Renders a single-select or option field as a colored tag on record pages.
Field tag display
When you add a field or configure a page layout, enable Display as Tag. The system then renders the value as a colored tag.
