Smart form entry on mobile client

Describe business information by voice on a Mobile Client object creation or edit page. AI interprets your input and fills the corresponding fields.

Overview

Smart Form Entry on Mobile Client helps you quickly record a Fieldwork Scene, competitor updates, Sales Records, and other business information.

You can speak the content directly. The system recognizes your speech and intent, then fills the corresponding fields on the current object.

Smart Form Entry provides two speech recognition modes:

Mode	Use case	How it works
Record and send	You have prepared a complete description and want the system to process it after you finish speaking.	Select Send after recording. The system processes the recording and fills fields. Each recording can be up to 60 seconds.
Live transcription	You want to view recognized text while speaking and pause or record again when needed.	The system displays recognized text in real time. Review the text, then send it to fill fields.

Before you begin

Your enterprise has enabled Smart Form Entry on Mobile Client.
Your Mobile Client version supports Smart Form Entry.
You can create or edit the current object record and edit the target fields.
You allowed the application to use your phone’s microphone.
Your network connection works properly for speech recognition and AI semantic processing.
Smart Form Entry does not overwrite read-only, formula, or other non-editable fields.

Task 1: Open Smart Form Entry on Mobile Client

1. Open an object creation or edit page

On Mobile Client, open the target object and select create or edit. This guide uses New Sales Record as an example.

2. Locate the Smart Form Entry entry point

Locate the floating Smart Form Entry action bar at the bottom of the page:

Select Smart Form Entry in the center to record and send your speech.
Select the Microphone icon on the left to start live transcription.

[!IMPORTANT] Smart Form Entry fills only editable fields that the current page supports. It does not bypass object or field permissions.

Task 2: Record and send speech

1. Start recording

Select Smart Form Entry, then clearly describe the information that you want to enter. Each recording can be up to 60 seconds.

Include both the field meaning and the target value. For example:

Set the follow-up type for today’s field visit to after-sales service.

2. Send the recording

When you finish, select Send. The system recognizes the speech and interprets its meaning based on the current object fields.

3. Check the filled fields

After recognition, the system fills information that it can match to fields. In this example, it sets Follow-Up Type to After-Sales Service.

Check each result, especially required fields, option fields, dates, amounts, and proper nouns. Correct fields manually or start Smart Form Entry again when needed.

[!NOTE] AI recognition assists data entry. Before you submit business data, verify that every field and value is accurate.

Task 3: Use live transcription

1. Start live transcription

Select the Microphone icon on the left side of the Smart Form Entry action bar. The system starts live transcription.

2. Review recognized text in real time

As you speak, recognized text appears at the bottom of the page. You can use these actions:

Select Pause to temporarily stop recording.
Select Record Again to clear the current content and restart.
Select Close to exit the current speech input session.

3. Send the text and check the filled fields

After you verify the recognized text, select Send. The system interprets the content and fills matching fields. Check every result before you continue.

Task 4: Verify and submit data

After Smart Form Entry finishes, complete these checks before submission:

Verify that all required fields contain values.
Verify that the AI-filled fields match your spoken description.
Manually complete fields that AI did not recognize, recognized incorrectly, or cannot fill automatically.
Select Save as Draft, Submit and New, or Submit based on your business needs.

After submission, return to the object details page and verify that the data was saved correctly.

Expected results and verification

After you use Smart Form Entry, verify the following:

The Smart Form Entry entry point appears on the object creation or edit page.
Both speech modes start correctly and receive microphone audio.
Record and send mode recognizes speech and fills fields after you send the recording.
Live transcription displays recognized text and supports pause, record again, and send actions.
AI fills only fields that the current user can edit and does not change read-only or non-editable fields.
Users can edit AI-filled results before submission.
After submission, the object details page values match the final confirmed content.

FAQ

Issue	Recommended action
Smart Form Entry does not appear	Verify that your enterprise enabled the capability and that Mobile Client is updated. Confirm that the page supports record creation or editing.
Recording does not start	Allow microphone access in your phone settings, then reopen the page.
Speech produces no recognition result	Check the network and microphone. Move closer to the phone, reduce background noise, and record again.
Recognized text is inaccurate	Speak more slowly, reduce noise, and clearly state field meanings, numbers, and proper nouns.
A field is not filled automatically	Verify that the target field is editable. Manually complete fields that cannot be matched or are not supported.
Data is filled into the wrong field or option	Correct it before submission. State both the field name and value when you try again.
A recording exceeds 60 seconds	Split the content across recordings, or use live transcription and shorten your description.
