A mobile summary layout controls the fields and styles on mobile list cards, summaries, and shared cards.

Overview

This article describes the use cases, behavior, and configuration of mobile summary layouts. You can manage mobile list card fields and styles in one place. Basic and advanced layouts are available, and you can configure different layouts by Record Type.

Use cases

Use a mobile summary layout primarily to configure fields on a mobile list page. You can show different summary fields for each Filter Scenario and Record Type. This helps users find key information in each business context.

Behavior and recommendations

Scenario association

Mobile list pages obtain their field configuration from the mobile settings in enterprise Filter Scenario management:
  • Inherited configuration: If a scenario inherits the mobile summary layout, the layout controls field visibility.
  • Standalone Configuration: If a scenario has its own mobile display settings, the list uses those fields instead.
[!IMPORTANT] Changes to the mobile summary layout appear in the app only when Enterprise Scenario Management > Mobile Display Settings inherits the mobile summary field settings.

Multiple Record Types

You can create and assign a different summary layout to each Record Type. Each mobile view can therefore match its Business Scenario.

User customization and reset

  • You can configure mobile summary fields centrally.
  • A user’s personal column-width or filter settings override the system configuration.
  • To restore the system configuration, ask the user to click Restore System Defaults.

Basic and advanced layouts

Basic layout

A basic mobile summary layout supports up to eight fields. You cannot increase this limit.

Advanced layout

Enable Advanced Layout to use more than eight fields and create richer arrangements. You can:
  • Add multiple text elements to one row, including fields, custom text, labels, and separators.
  • Configure text size, color, background, and border.
  • Configure row alignment and arrangement.
  • Set custom image dimensions.
  • Select a preset card template and adjust its parameters.
