View stages, process tasks, and advance stages in stage view.
Overview
A Pipeline divides object advancement into multiple stages. You can view stage tasks in the To-Do Center, on object details pages, or in stage view, and process each task by task type.
Before you begin
- An administrator has enabled the Pipeline.
- You can access the target object record.
- You are the stage Task Handler, or you have transfer permission.
View Pipeline details
Pipeline details have three entry points:
- To-Do Center > My To-Dos > Stage Tasks.
- The Pipeline area on the object data details page.
- The Pipeline details page or the View Full Process entry.
In To-Do Center > Stage Tasks, you can view the current user’s pending stage tasks by business object. The list usually shows Task Name, process Name, Stage Name, related data, Amount, Task Start Time, Pending Handler, Executed By, and other information.
The stage task list supports the following actions:
- View tasks by object category, such as Quote, Account, Account Address, Opportunity, Work Order, or Sales Lead.
- Switch task types by tabs such as All / Stage Task / Business Process.
- Click the Task Name or related data to open the stage task or object details.
- View whether the task is read, the Task Start Time, the current Pending Handler, and Executed By.
After you open object details, you can view Pipeline details on the page. Pipeline details usually include:
- The Pipeline name and the Current Stage.
- A stage bar that shows configured stages and the current stage position.
- Current stage tasks, such as approval, fill-in, approve, disapprove, and On Hold operations.
- A View Full Process entry that shows the stage path and process records.
- Related information on the object details page, such as Basic Info, Business Process, Approval Process, and Modification Record.
Handlers can complete tasks, move to the next stage, jump to a stage, or View Full Process on the Pipeline details page. The actual buttons depend on stage configuration, Task Type, and user permissions.

View stage view
Stage view shows object data in a stage Kanban format. Use it to quickly understand data distribution and advancement status across stages.
- Go to an object list that supports pipelines, such as Opportunity or Opportunity 2.0.
- Click the stage view or Kanban View icon.
- Select a Pipeline or Sales Process.
- View object cards in each stage column.
- Filter by scope, Estimated Closing Date, Record Type, or object fields as needed.
Stage view usually shows:
- Stage Name: Examples include Opportunity Registration, Requirement Confirmation, Proposal Presentation, Bidding or Business Negotiation, and Contract Negotiation.
- Stage statistics: The data count and Amount summary under each stage.
- Object cards: Each card shows key object fields, such as Amount, Opportunity Stage, Sales Process, and Name.
- Stage status: Cards might show status identifiers such as in approval.
- View switching: Switch between list view, stage view, and other display formats.
Stage view supports Opportunity 2.0, Opportunity, Sales Lead, Account, Sales Order, and Custom Object records. The stages, statistics, and card fields that each object can show depend on administrator configuration and object fields.

Filter stage view
Stage view supports filters by Pipeline, Record Type, object field, and time range. Use these filters to find objects that need follow-up.
Common filters include:
- Select a Pipeline or Sales Process: In the Sales Process dropdown, select the target Pipeline. After you switch it, the page shows the corresponding stage columns, such as Verify Account, Requirement Confirmation, Proposal / Quote, Negotiation Approval, Closed Won, Closed Lost, and Invalid.
- View deleted processes: The dropdown might show Pipelines marked as Deleted. Visibility depends on administrator settings for stage view access.
- Filter by Record Type: Use the All Record Types dropdown to filter data for a specific Record Type.
- Search by field: Select fields such as Opportunity Name or Account Name, and enter keywords to search object cards.
- Filter by scope: Use Scope to filter data owned by you, involving you, owned by subordinates, or in another visible range.
- Filter by date: Filter records in stage view by date fields such as Estimated Closing Date.
- Filter by object fields: Click Filter to combine object fields, tags, or other conditions.
After filtering, stage view refreshes object cards, stage Amount, and quantity statistics in each stage. If a stage shows No Data after you switch Pipelines, no data matches the current filters for that stage.
Filter recommendations:
- Select the correct Pipeline or Sales Process before setting other filters.
- If too many stage cards appear, narrow the Data Range by Record Type, scope, or Estimated Closing Date.
- If you cannot see a Pipeline, confirm whether you are within its Applicable Scope or whether the administrator allows viewing all definitions.
Set view card fields
A stage view card can show up to 15 object fields. Field display supports Tenant-level and Personal Level settings. These settings affect Mobile Client to-do cards and Web Portal card view respectively.
On the field configuration page, the left side is All Fields and the right side is Display Fields. You can select object fields from all fields and add them to display fields. The card then shows the corresponding content according to the configuration.
The configuration area usually includes:
- Object fields: Object basic fields, process fields, or business fields.
- Process fields: Stage task fields, such as total task dwell time, timeout duration, Created On, Stage Name, and Task Start Time.
- Display field count: The right side shows the current selected field count, such as 8/15.
- Search box: Search by Field Name.
- Left and right move buttons: Move fields between all fields and display fields.
When you set view card fields, note the following points:
- Card field count is limited. Fields that exceed the limit are not displayed.
- Tenant-level settings are suitable for standardizing card fields across roles.
- Personal Level settings are suitable for adjusting card content to personal work habits.
- Field order affects the Display Order on the card. Place the most important information first.
- After configuration, preview the Mobile Client to-do card or Web Portal card display.

View statistics
Stage view summarizes object quantity and Amount by stage. Use these statistics to assess business advancement. For Opportunity stage view, the top of the page and stage columns usually show these metrics:
- In-progress Amount: Total Opportunity Amount in in-progress stages under the current filters.
- Closed Won Amount: Total opportunity amount in the Closed Won stage.
- Forecast Amount: Forecast Opportunity Amount calculated by stage win rate or Forecast Rule.
- Stage Amount and quantity: Each stage column shows the Amount total and object count under that stage, such as “CNY 3,230,736.32 / 4 items”.
- Stage win rate: Opportunity stages might show win rates, such as Verify Account 10%, Requirement Confirmation 30%, Proposal / Quote 60%, Negotiation Approval 80%, and Closed Won 100%.
Statistics refresh when Sales Process, Record Type, scope, date, and field filters change. If no matching data exists for a stage, the stage column is empty or shows No Data.

Process edit-object tasks
Edit-object tasks let you add or modify fields on the current business object during a stage task. In the screenshot example, the current stage task includes tasks such as startup and decision, target milestone, and project initiation application. The handler can click Fill In to open task content.
Steps:
- Open the Pipeline details page.
- In the current stage task list, find the edit-object task to process.
- Click Fill In.
- Edit object fields or task content as required by the page.
- Click Save or Save and Complete Task.
- If no other required tasks remain in the current stage, follow the prompt to move to the next stage.
When processing, note the following points:
- If the task has required fields or completion conditions, you must satisfy them before completing the task.
- If the page shows the Completed button, click it after you confirm the content is correct.
- If the current user does not have edit permission for the object, the page might not show fill-in or save entries.
Process create-related-object tasks
Create-related-object tasks let you select existing related data, or create and associate new business data in a stage. In the screenshot example, the Opportunity Contact task lets you click Select or Create Opportunity Contact to maintain related contacts.
Steps:
- Open the Pipeline details page.
- In the current stage task list, find the create-related-object task.
- Click the related Select or Create button, such as Select or Create Opportunity Contact.
- Select existing related data, or create a Related Object as required by the page.
- Save the related data.
- Return to the stage task and click Completed.
- If all required tasks in the current stage are completed, continue advancing the stage.
When processing, note the following points:
- The selectable data range is configured by the administrator in the stage task.
- If the task requires a related object to be created or selected, you usually cannot complete the task before finishing the association.
- After creating a related object, check whether the related list or detail area on the object details page updates correctly.
Process batch-edit detail-object tasks
Batch Edit detail-object tasks let you maintain multiple detail-object records under a main object in a stage, such as quote details, contact details, and Product Details.
- Open the stage task.
- Go to the batch-edit detail-object page.
- Add, modify, or delete detail-object records.
- Click Save or Save and Complete Task.
- If no other tasks remain in the current stage, follow the prompt to move to the next stage.
Transfer stage tasks
Transferring a stage task moves responsibility for the current stage task to another person. In the Pipeline details page, the task row or stage task area usually provides a Change Handler entry.
Steps:
- Open the Pipeline task details page.
- In the current stage tasks, find the task to transfer.
- Click Change Handler.
- Select the new handler.
- Click Confirm.
- Notify the new handler to go to To-Do Center > Stage Tasks to view and process the task.
When transferring, note the following points:
- Only the current Pipeline owner, Task Handler, or a user with transfer permission can change the handler.
- Transfer affects only the Current Handler for the task. It does not necessarily change the business object Owner.
- The new handler needs object access permission and task processing permission. Otherwise, the handler might not be able to open or process the task.
- After transfer, the original handler is usually no longer the current Pending Handler for the task.
Expected result and verification
- The stage Task Status changes to completed.
- After the current stage satisfies completion conditions, it can advance to the next stage.
- After transfer, the new handler can see the task.
