Configure channel targets

Channel Target Management lets an upstream enterprise set targets for partners and compare target values with actual results.

Before you start

[!IMPORTANT] - Confirm that your account can configure target rules. - Confirm that the Partner object and the relevant roles are enabled.

Add Partner as an evaluation dimension

  1. Open the target rule configuration.
  2. Add Partner as an evaluation dimension.
  3. Save the target rule.

Set a partner target

  1. Open the Partner subject area.
  2. Select the partner that requires a target.
  3. Enter the target value.
  4. Save the target.
Set quarterly and monthly targets by partner

Review completion

Users with permission to view partners can review target and actual values in the Partner subject area. Filter the data by partner to evaluate performance.
Review a performance alert when a partner is below target

Expected result

The Partner subject area displays target and actual values to authorized users.
