Enable downstream product-selection ordering
Let downstream dealers select order products from special-price lines.
Overview
The standard ShareOrder mall cannot select products from a custom object directly. After the upstream tenant installs the ITT special price pack, downstream tenants still need the staged Select products to place an order capability. That capability corresponds to the Place Order from Products component in Help Center 835.

Permissions: You can configure order layouts.

Prerequisites: The ITT special price pack is installed.

limited-rollout request: Contact CSM and submit a limited-rollout request in ShareCRM.
Steps
- Contact CSM to submit a limited-rollout request. Select the gray item [Place Order from Products] component gray.
- To select products from a custom object such as special-price lines, first complete multi-datasource configuration: relate order products to a child object such as special-price products, configure mapping rules, and turn on the matching child-object entry on the order record type’s New/Edit Page Layout.
- Open the order list-page layout, add a tab container, add the Place Order from Products component, and reuse the mapping rules from the previous step.
- Sign in with a test dealer account, open the downstream ordering page, create a special price request order, and check the special-price line selection entry.
How to verify
- The downstream ordering page shows the Place Order from Products entry.
- Dealers can add order products from special-price lines.
