Import and export target values in bulk

Import or export multidimensional target values to update data efficiently in bulk.

Overview

Manual entry is inefficient when target values span many dimensions. Use import and export to download a template, populate and import data, or export existing data, edit it in bulk, and import it again.

Before you begin

[!IMPORTANT] From the Targets menu, select the target rule that you want to manage.

Procedure

  1. To enter target values in bulk, download the import template from the target-value page.
  2. Enter the target-value data in the Excel file.
  3. On the target-value page, select Import and upload the completed Excel file.
  4. To update existing target values in bulk, first export the complete data set.
  5. Edit the exported file, then import it again.

Verify the result

The target-value page displays the imported or updated data, and the exported file contains the updated target values.
