Set targets by product line
Enter monthly targets for product lines and aggregate them into an annual target.

Learn how to enter monthly target values by product line and use automatic aggregation to generate an annual total. When you finish, you can verify the hierarchical aggregation data on the target-value page.
Before you begin
- The rule uses order-product quantity as its metric, product line as its dimension, and month as its evaluation period.
Procedure
- From the Targets menu, select the monthly rule that uses order-product quantity as its metric and product line as its dimension.
- On the target-value page, add the product lines to be evaluated.
- In the lowest-level monthly target-value cells, enter target values.
- On the target-value page, verify the automatic aggregation results.
Verify the result
The system saves target values at the smallest evaluation period and aggregates them to the annual target.
