Interact with a dashboard
When viewing a dashboard, you can use the operations provided by the charts to analyze with linkage, drill down into data, view metric details, or adjust the data range for the current view.
Use Chart Linkage
When a chart supports linkage, clicking a data item in the chart updates the charts that can be linked.
Linkage lets you start from a dimension or data item in one chart and view the corresponding data in related charts.

Drill Down or View Details
When a chart provides Drill-down/View details, use this operation to continue viewing the chart’s own data:
- Drill-down: Enters a more granular view of the data.
- View details: Views the detail data corresponding to the chart.
Personal dashboards support drill-down and view details; Enterprise dashboards do not support either operation. For the type descriptions, see the Dashboard Overview.

Drill Down and Link at the Same Time
When a chart provides Drill-down and linkage, executing it causes two changes at the same time:
- The chart that initiated the operation drills down;
- The linked charts update according to the current selection.

Jump to Another Dashboard
When a chart provides the Jump operation, clicking it opens the dashboard preset as the chart’s target. You can continue viewing data in the target dashboard.

View Metric Details
Hover over the metric details icon on the chart to view all metrics in the current chart and their details.

Refresh Data
Refresh the Current Dashboard
In the dashboard action menu, click Refresh to refresh the current dashboard’s data.
Refresh a Single Component
Hover over a component to see the latest update time of its data. After clicking the component’s Refresh, the system refreshes the component content.

Adjust the Data Range for the Current View
- Open the chart’s Data Range.
- View the current chart’s data range in the dashboard.
- For filter conditions that are not locked, re-select the filter content.
- Apply the filter conditions to view data with the current selection.

Locked filter conditions cannot be adjusted at view time. Enterprise dashboards generally do not support global filtering. You can adjust a condition at view time only if an administrator has not locked it. For more terminology, see Dashboard Core Terms.
Expected Results
While viewing a dashboard, you can use interactions such as linkage, drill-down, view details, and adjusting the data range.
