Configure international maps
International maps let you analyze data from a global perspective with map-based charts.
Before you begin
[!IMPORTANT] Confirm that you have access to the relevant BI page. Create, edit, and management operations also require the corresponding permissions.
Overview
BI provides two international map chart types: International Map (Bubble) and International Map (Heatmap).
Configure an international map
- When you create a chart, select International Map (Bubble) or International Map (Heatmap). This example uses International Map (Bubble).
- Make sure the analysis topic contains a Region Location component, such as country, province, city, or district.
Verify the result
Check that the map displays data for the selected geographic fields. If a field, metric, or entry is unavailable, verify the selected topic, data range, and permissions.
