Configure multilingual content
Multilingual support lets users view BI resources and application text in their selected language. Custom resources are translated in the Translation Workbench.
Before you begin
[!IMPORTANT] Confirm that you have access to the relevant BI page. Create, edit, and management operations also require the corresponding permissions.
Overview
After your enterprise enables multilingual support, CRM and other application interfaces use the selected language. Preset BI resources include translations for supported languages, while custom resources can be translated by users.

Configure multilingual resources
Folder names
- Select Folder Name in the BI category.
- Select Folder Name and Folder Description as the subcategory.
- Enter translations in Name Translation, then synchronize the entries.

Chart names
- Select Chart Name in the BI category.
- Select the folder to translate.
- Select Report, Chart, or Joined Report as the chart category.
- Select Chart Name and Chart Description as the subcategory.

Dashboards

Topics and metrics
Select Topic Metrics, then translate topic names and descriptions, KPI Name and description, and synchronize the entries.

Targets
Select Target, then translate target names, sub-target names, and target descriptions.

Chart configuration
Select Chart Configuration, choose the folder and chart category, and translate the applicable metric, Dimension Name, label line, header, common dimension, or data-range names.

Preset templates
Select Preset Template, choose Chart or Report, and edit the preset translation if needed before synchronizing it.

Verify the result
Check that resource names, chart configuration labels, and text data appear in the selected language. If a field or entry is unavailable, verify the topic, data range, and permissions.
